Community Roundtables offer a multi-faceted opportunity to explore and share regional history and culture; They bring makers and community together in conversation.

It all started at the museum

Roundtable participants first met at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. What an emotional day, filled with awe, sorrow, and hope. We met several times after that, weaving connectedness in our little cohort. On March 10th, we shared our work and journey with the community.

The big reveal

So grateful to have been part of this artistic collaboration process and community roundtable with @riverworks_art_center and @iamsarahmatthews! Thank you for this great initiative! I look forward to future collaborations.
